Playing/continuing games on second xbox

Hello, we have an Xbox one that my boys play various games on including Fortnite and Ark evolved.

If we get a second Xbox one in the house connected to the same account can they continue those games with all the existing progress ,skins etc etc on that other Xbox one or is all of the above actually on the hard drive of the existing Xbox one and not
available to a second machine.

Basically is all progress etc saved on the xbox live account or the hard drive itself.

Hope that makes sense.

Yep, totally agree. Whilst you could dive in on the second game, I'd play the first one, it helps to make the second game a better experience, life lessons learned and all that.

( Continuing my second post ) I mean, come on everyone! Remember when LEGO games were loosely based on the movies and it was amusing seeing that they never spoke, so there was a sense of imagination in there?

Everything is tied to the account. As long as long as they sign into their same account on the second console they'll have access to everything.

You can also download your profile onto each 360, save having to move your profile via USB stick or HDD.....and any game you want to continue playing on the second xbox, just save to cloud storeage.......then you can continue what ever game you were playing
on your second console as it will download your save game automatically when you start said game up.

As expected I'm buying a PS4 second hand.

Yet will continue to play on the 360 for my "older" games.

Troubleshooter steps seem to have resolved the issue. Game save on the series x was today at 10:33. I shut off that console and powered up the Xbox one and, low and behold, the game save on that console was today at 10:33. Thank you VERY much!!!
