    Playing co-op games which shouldn't require xbox live.


    My husband and I play co-op games, which should not require xbox live. We are having a hard time logging both players without it switching the second player to the first player spot and kicking the first player out. This is ridiculous. We keep reading
    things about xbox live and the console keeps asking about xbox live. We don't do xbox live and play others outside our system. We won't buy such a subscription. Is this what xbox has gone to? If so, we will go back to our xbox 360 and move to PS for new
    games.

    Any help is appreciated.

    PAPERBOY CO-OP

    I know paperboy is a de-listed xbox live game, but I have two achievements left to unlock in order to complete the game. Both of these achievemens require playing an online. What I would like to know is it even possible to play an online co-op or versus
    game now? Does anyone have the full paperboy game which we can try it out?

    I guess have something to do with Rebellion hate . The demo was good and the complete game is better in many ways IMO. Co-op campaign is a blast in co-op and playing solo too. This game requires patience something that many rambo gamers will never understand.

    Hey there, Doubting!

    I'm sorry to see any frustrations! Based on your description, though, it sounds more like it's asking you to create an Xbox Live account. Xbox Live accounts do not need to have a Gold subscription on it to be able to be connected to the Xbox Live service.
    It simply means you need to have a gamertag attached to a Microsoft Account. If you are trying to use a Guest account on your Xbox One, then that might be what you are running into.

    [/quote]Halo 3 and Vegas 2 didn't have Campaign co-op matchmaking. And no games shouldn't need matchmaking for co-op. Not being able to find enough friends to play a co-op game with is not the fault of the game.
