Playing A Xbox game Via Steam and able to use the Same saves

So i use Games pass most the Time and when i can pay it out, but Moved over to Steam Mostly and wondered if i play my State of Decay 2 and Sea of thieves Xbox Saves on Steam as i want to own them on Steam as them all my games are in one Place and not on Different apps or Places on my pc. so would i be able to buy state of decay and Sea of thieves and play it on Steam and use the Xbox saves i've already have?

ok thank you when i Can I'm just going to buy the Xbox app ones of the Games so i Keep my saves as spent to many hours and not wasting the time i've spent on them

No you cannot, virtually no games allow cross saves between platforms

works the same way as halo mcc, all save data and game progress carried over for me, including all cheevos that opened all my steam cheevos up.

you sign in to the xbox live servers to play and all game saves for that are carried over. i know i play both via steam and console. its the same with sea of thieves too.

no, as the game is not play anywhere and on pc the game is via the ubisoft store or steam so it does not use cloud saves via xbox live. you would also have to rebuy the dlc too.

I do not believe it is possible to play on Steam and xbox using the same saves. Xbox uses some weird way of saving the game locally on the PC and in the cloud.
