Playing a M rateing gaming and banned for trash talking.

Look this is just question. Alright im playing gears of war UE PvP and people send message talking trash so i what almost everyone dose trash talk right back. look if you are play M rated game and i get banned for trash talking that not right when other
people do the same. you shouldnt get banned for playing a adult game. If i have to show a ID its a adult game.

Enforcement Issue

getting banned for trash talking is like trying to reform half of the community, wasted resources, and it takes the fun out of gaming, they say gaming in itself should be peaceful and fun, without trash talking but thats bs

I've been playing Xbox Live as well for 6 years and I remember, during the early days of hardcore gaming, people used to trash talk all the time. It was part of the hardcore gaming experience / underground zone. Bragging rights between other teams, like
clans, was much more competitive and thus, creating a much more immersive online experience because it felt like I was actually playing against human beings instead of bots.

I think trash talking has always been part of ANY M-Rated online environments. We're all 17+ users so we know that online trash talking doesn't actually mean anything...

Underground Zone is supposed to be the haven for "trash talking" hardcore gamers. Complaints in this environment shouldn't count...

 

You only need to be an adult to buy the game,not play it.

Xbox live has no age rating & there are rules that you agreed to that you must not break,no matter what the game.

Not for a very long time as I stick to party chat & very rarely play against randoms,plus the rules were different back then.

There's nothing wrong with a bit of trash talk but it's what you say that will get you a suspension.

 

Yay i know that. I watch what i say but still get banned. Its dosent matter if you got someone that dosent like you. they cant lie.

 

Yeah, the Game rating has nothing to do with Xbox rules and standards. If you sent a message and it has been reported, or enough people report you, they will take action.

 

It only takes one valid report for someone to be investigated & action taken if needed.

You don't get a ban or suspension if enough people report you,only if you break the rules.

 

"M" is for mature.

There's nothing mature about trash talking.

 

Do as we say, not as we do.

That is the rule.

If you watched Major Nelson and others playing H5 at it's midnight release event. You heard a lot of trash talking. Yet not a single one got banned for it did they?

 

I trash talk but in a funny way not to upset people and make them laugh. I guess it depends on how severe the trash talking was or if it got heated.

 

Did Major Nelson start throwing down racial slurs?

 

Hey i dont talk about race. that one place i dont touch.

 

i just got band for trash talking too, but the guy who started it didnt, cause i didnt complain. if ur gonna talk trash u shouldnt cry about it when someone else is better at it.... way to be unfair
