Playing a game ahead of its release date. Are there any consequences?

hello first time posting on this forum. I purchased a physical copy of the title "Bioshock the Collection" yesterday and installed it right away and played for a few hours. I then noticed that i was not getting any achievements.so i quit and removed the
disc. tried to start playing again without the disc and i get a message saying "if you have the game disc, insert it now.if you purchased this online, make sure you are signed in to Xbox Live.if you do not have the rights to play it, you will need to get it
at the xbox store.(0x803f8001) ". So i then proceeded to check out the xbox store and noticed that the game is available only on the 16/9/2016 at 12 am. i have no problems playing it with the disc except no achievements pop up. So the big question is, will
there be consequences by playing the game ahead of its release date like getting my xbox live account banned and such.

    :)

  3. Will importing a game that has an earlier release date than my country result in a ban ?

Will importing a game that has an earlier release date than my country result in a ban ?

I have imported Lost Planet 3 from the USA witch has a release date of 27th of August. I'm due to receive this game tomorrow and I'm considering playing it. However the game is not release in the UK until the 30th. Will I be banned for playing the game before
my countries release date ? I understand that game is region free so it will play fine on my Xbox, what I don't understand if there are any policies behind this that will result in a ban ?

    Thanks

If you got the game legitimately there shouldn't be any consequences.

The issue with achievements is that pre-release they aren't always visible, so you don't get notifications and cannot see them in your game history. I'm in the fortunate position where I sometimes get to play games early and this year they started hiding
achievements before launch - in this case, you could be earning achievements (you may or may not see a notification when one pops), and their score contributing to your total Gamerscore, but you will not see them unlocked until after launch, at which point
    you'll see what unlocked already.

Loved the first game, its play style was ahead of its time and glad to see it making a return

The release date of the game (at least in the US) is the 15, so you won't be able to play it until then. The other dates may have been in error, or the game may have been pushed back from its original release date. You should be able to play from 00:01 on
    release day in your region

Witcher 3 BaW Expansion release date.

The release date of a game's dlc its established by the publisher. In this case the publisher has decided to release the The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Blood and Wine for xbox one on 5/31/2016 at 12:01 AM EST.

You have to consider Eastern Time (EST) is 1 hour ahead of Central Time (CST).
