    Player Reputation Broken


    I am a high diamond player who streams to twitch, so all of my gameplay is recorded. I am constantly recieveing false reports that are putting my rep into avoid me, so the money i am paying to micro$oft to access xbox live is being wasted, and i think this
    is borderline theft, due to the nature of having no evidence but being blocked from a service.

    Scenario,

    i just got out of avoid me after playing World of tanks for 5 days straight (worst week of my life, easy game (70% WR) and incredibly boring) i hop into a couple games of overwatch. i dont troll, i dont abuse, i dont purposefully do anything to make my team
    lose. But because somebody doesnt like the way i play, they report me, ONCE, and im back into avoid me. meanwhile this player is sending me offensive messages and is still playing games as we speak.

    I would like to know how micro$oft is protecting me by filtering FALSE reports, as every report on me is false until proven, with facts, otherwise.

    The reputation thing is broken. My rep says Good on here, but on xbox it says Avoid Me. This NEEDS to be fixed and made aware that the reputation service is BROKEN.

    I think early on in the Xbox 360's life, people actually did rate people. But then we all realized that that was virtually useless since the reputation system was broken and was a huge mess. Hopefully with the release of Xbox One, this is changed and people
    with bad reputation will actually be forced to play with other bad reputation players. GTA V handles this phenomenally. Being a bad sport? Spend a week with other bad sports and have no fun at all.

    Being reported doesn't affect your reputation, is only when you at found to have broken the code of conduct your reputation will decrease.
    Actually that's not entirely true. If you're found to violate the code of conduct you can receive a suspension/ban. Rep has nothing to do with suspensions/bans.

    it’s possible to have a low reputation score without violating the Microsoft Services Agreement or Code of Conduct. Instead, reputation reflects how the Xbox Live community views a player’s behavior over time.
    The reputation system emphasizes a player’s sportsmanship and overall attitude and is intended to help ensure a level playing field for all Xbox Live members.

    About the new rep system

    As soon as the cry baby exploiting abusers get their grubby hands on it good players REP will be wrongly reported.

    Like Owen said, all it will take is beating a few clans or groups of sore losers and boom, broken reputation system.

    Broken reputation system says "Avoid Me"

    I shouldn't have to invest my time into something just to "fix" my reputation. That's like putting a band-aid on a broken system. I just want to be able to play the game that I paid good money for and my reputation shouldn't be governed by players from a
    competitive game. They block you just so they don't have to play against you again.
