Player can unblock himself, when I have him blocked.

Regarding the issue of the player unblocking himself, it's possible that he may have created a new account to message you again. It's also possible that he may have found a way to bypass the block feature. However, I would recommend reporting the player to Xbox Live enforcement for harassment and blocking him again.

In that case, what we can do best is to make sure that the accounts will be reported so that our dedicated team will conduct another investigation for the case you submitted.



As for the console ban, it's important to note that console bans are issued by Xbox Live enforcement for violations of the Xbox Live terms of service and to Microsoft Services Agreement. It's possible that the ban may be related to the messages you received from the player. I would recommend contacting Xbox Live support to inquire about the ban and to see if there is any way to appeal it.

In the meantime, it's a good idea to take steps to secure your account and console. You mentioned that you've changed your multiplayer settings and put on appear offline, which is a good start. No I never answered my own question. If you read carefully, I said I know what to do to unblock somebody. Then I asked how can I unblock somebody when we've blocked each other? This means I explained that I know how to unblock somebody when he hasn't
blocked me. This means things are harder to deal with when we've blocked each other because if I send him a message, invite or friends request, he won't get either of them so that I can unblock him, same thing visa-versa if he tries to unblock me. I was
asking if there's another way to unblock somebody when he's also blocked me, such as, is there a block list for me to unblock him from or can I unblock him by contacting Xbox Live?

we have unfortuntely we have done this quiet often and even blocked him but especially in my friends case he hacks her just to unblock himself and then he gloats about it in msgs to her

I thought I would add that if you message a player you have blocked, or engage in any communication, in will unblock him or her.
