    Played a game on game pass, bought the game. Lost my progress


    I played 'dream light valley' using the xbox game pass. It has been a few months since I started it. I have a lot of hours on it and now when i bought the game. It started me from the beginning. I don't have any of my progress. Please someone help me recover all of those hours.

    One is fifa 20 that is not on game pass and the other one is gta online that is on game pass if i uninstall and reinstall them will i lose my in game progress
    Your in game progression are stored and synched in Cloud, you never lost your progress until you explicitily decide to delete local and cloud saves.

    If you downloaded the games as part of Game Pass, you won't be able to play them unless you purchase them or renew Game Pass. If you bought them, you'll still be able to play them just fine. You won't lose your progress, so even if you don't renew Game Pass or buy the games right away, you'll still have your progress if you do so in the future.

    Yep I did that and all my downloadable content is there but in game progress and completion has been reset to beginning as if I just bought the game. Is there any way to recover THAT lost info or do I just have to play over from scratch? Feeling disappointed
