    I just want to play solitaire and every time I start the solitaire collection I am asked to login to xbox games. Can this be disabled?

    How is the time spent playing the Microsoft Solitaire Collection daily challenges calculated?

    Hey there EngagedGold58,

    Are you playing the game on a PC or mobile device? It's possible that the game may not have closed out fully causing the timer to continue to run is why I ask. Has this happened consistently and have you tried to reinstall the game to see if it helped?

    If I want to stop playing even for a few minutes, I always 'gracefully' exit the Collection completely. That seems to work.
