Play spotify music only on monitor and not through headset while still being able to hear game?

Only if something other than your Xbox is displaying on your monitor

Yes you will still be able to adjust mic monitoring features whilst using the chatpad.

Hey there. If you download the Spotify app on your xbox you can play music for free through your headset. If you also pull up the xbox menu you can adjust the volume of your game volume and music volume. Hope this helps!

I understand that Microsoft has their own music service, but Spotify would be an excellent addition to the current apps for Xbox One. I don't care that it had to be for Gold members only. I'd love to play video games and stream my music through the Xbox,
especially that I have a Turtle Beach headset for the console. Shuffle Play could be the only feature available for my playlists for all I care. This needs to happen as soon as possible.
