Play same digital download game on 2 consoles

Please forgive me if I mess this up and/ or give you incorrect info. If you run into any issues just Google search "Xbox Game Share - Xbox Set Up" or something close.

Knowing you you already have the game installed on both Xbox's I take it your account is on both, but I I'll still go over this just in case someone else needs this info at a later date.

Have the account on both consoles that has the game/s.

Install the game on each.

Set one Xbox to 'Home".

(I could be wrong about this. Please Google to check if you run into issues) The console set to "Home" can use any account they wish and play those games & apps. The console that is "NOT" set to home, will need to be using the main account to use those titles.

I stated I could be wrong because I just don't know if this is true. You might be able to use 2 different accounts, but not 100%.

the way i understand it to work is you can grab console (a) Download your GT (gamer tag) and load GT(2)...buy all games on that console digitally then grab console (b) and load your GT and download those same games. Now you can be on console (b) playing
online while your son/family/friend is on console (a) with GT (2) playing same game (online if they have xbl). Will this same type of family sharing be gone with the Xbone?

set that console as home Xbox and you wont need internet to play your digital games, all my consoles do it from ps4 to Nintendo, id rather have a digital download that wont fail me unlike discs that can end up damaged or the disc drive that always seems
to eventually fail. Also at least with digital downloads you can play from 2 consoles one just needs to be your home Xbox and one needs internet and you to be on your account, so you don't have to buy 2 copies of the same game but if its for 2 separate accounts
you do or you will be violating the terms and conditions, however any account may play your games on the Xbox that is set as home Xbox. hope this helps

I'm having the same problem, uninstalled and reinstalled off of 2 separate discs and a digital download (same game) and it slows to a crawl and then crashes when I start to play

That's all correct, except for where you say Digital Games can be downloaded provided it's the same
console.

That's not quite right. It can be downloaded again provided it's the same
account.

And on the first console it gets downloaded to, any user account can play the game. On any other console, the original buyer has to be signed in to Xbox Live to play.
