Play digital copy in one PC and GamePass in other PC (same account)

You wont be able to play with the same account on 2 different devices at the same time.

The play anywhere program only applies to digital content. So if you own a digital copy of the game you should be able to install for free on your Windows 10 pc using the same email account/microsoft account you use on the Xbox One console.

You can not play a play anywhere game on both PC and Xbox at the same time, on the same account.

What you need to do is set the Xbox One console you want to be able to play the game as the account's (that owns the game, unless you have a disc copy) home Xbox, then sign into the game on the Xbox with a different account, then you can sign in on PC with
the account that has the digital rights to the game and then you will be able to play on PC and Xbox One simultaneously.

It is because you bought the xbox version not the pc version. You only get one copy.

The benefit of the digital edition is that you get both copies with play anywhere.

No, the play anywhere titles can be played on both PC and XBOX only if you own the
digital version of the game. The physical version is not compatible between the systems. If you want to use a DVD you will need to buy one for the XBOX and one for PC.

If you own a physical copy for one system, you still need to buy another copy (be it physical or digital) to play it on the other system.
