Play Cloud gaming with keyboard and mouse

Just signed up for game pass ultimate so i could play on my potato of a laptop ironically because my controller has broken and i cant currently leave the house due to ilness. Only to find out that the cloud gaming service for PC requires a controller to use it *facepalm

Having spent the last 2 hours reading all the information, on the overview and how it works section. It doesn't say that mouse and keyboard are compatible however it also doesn't state in the what's required section that a controller is a requirement at least not explicitly. Any reasonable person would deduce that a gaming service for pc would use a keyboard and mouse all it would take is just to be slightly more clear that it is an absolute requirement to use a controller, the information states all you need is xbox ultimate game pass and a compatible device, just add in controller aswell.
EDIT: I finally found that it does mention it all the way in the FAQ section, just add that bit to the how it works section
