    Help with Xbox play anywhere.

    Only the digital version of Forza Horizon 3 can be played on both Xbox One and Windows 10 PC as you can see here:

    Your disc version is available only for xbox one console

    Help with Xbox play anywhere.

    Hello,

    So I recently purchased Forza Horizon 3. The Gamestop employee told me that I could buy the game for Xbox One (actual copy) and I will be able to download the game to my PC because it will show that I own the game though my live account. When I tried to
    download the game to my PC it says I have to buy it again? So my question is do I need to re-buy the game just to play it through my computer? I'm a active duty service member so being able to take my computer on deployments is key and I would really like
    to play the game while away from my xbox. Any help would be appreciated.

    I can't see my games on the Xbox app for PC

    only play anywhere games will be listed, if you bought games on the xbox and they are not play anywhere then they will not appear on the pc, microsoft games bought on steam are only available on steam.

    The reason why you can cross play on steam and xbox one is because of waypoint

    Unfortunately games you purchase on Steam are only usable on the Steam platform.

    Some PC games can be shared between Xbox and PC, but these are most commonly Microsoft's Play Anywhere titles, but they use the Windows Store and not Steam.
