Play and Charge Kit (USB Type C version) - Impossible to know when fully charged on PC

Hello? Anyone from Xbox cand confirm that this problem was reported somewhere? I'm sure the devs of the Xbox Game Bar can implement a function to see when the controller it's fully charged.

No. The USB port it's carrying the exact same data to both PC and Xbox. It has nothing to do with the hardware. The USB protocol it's the same for both PC and Xbox.

But the computer you plug it into is almost certainly not their product.

The Xbox is there a hardware, and therefore they have total control over the environment than any device plugged into it experiences. A PC has 1 million and probably closer to 1 billion or more possible configurations.

As Tezz just said, usb-c just leave it for an hour. I personally always suggest adding a set of rechargeable AA batteries, rather than using any kit or rechargeable battery pack. You can get the charger and four batteries from Amazon for under $20, and they last for years. I still have pairs I'm now using in TV remotes that are 10 years old. This also has the advantage of sending you from 0 to 100% in about five seconds

just stick it on charge for an hour and it will be fully charged, I use the usb c plug n play on one of my many controllers. gamebar will only tell you what's in it when you unplug the controller and power it on.

It doesn't matter what company it's making the USB controller, it should follow the standards set by the USB Forum. The only problem that can appear are the drivers, which clearly should not be a problem here.

Regarding apples "it just works", that's why you can plug one gazillion things into the USB port and just works as long as you have the drivers, because everyone it's following the same standard hardware wise.
