    Picture freezes while you rewind or fast forward.


    It will unfreeze once you push play again, but you cannot scan ahead or back or slow mo using the DVR.

    Pause, rewind, fast forward, etc commands do not work with live TV

    When ever I fast forward or rewind on xbox using directv my screen freezes not showing me where I am fast forwarding to until I press play

    Picture freezes when STB is muted

    Mate, I have this exact same problem when using my Foxtel. Turn the volume all the way down, picture freezes. Muting, freezes it also. And fast forwarding and rewinding also freezes the picture.

    I think you're right about it needing to detect sound because all of these things cuts sound, thus freezing the onscreen image.

    I chatted with Microsoft support, they say it is a known issue and they are working on it.

    Same exact issue here; LUS Fiber Lafayette, LA. Cisco box CIS430 DVR. Also, the one guide doesn't recognize / matchup the channels properly. It gets some correct, but the HD range is in the thousands. So it sees SD ESPN at 35, but tries to show HD ESPN(1035)
    in the 200 range. LUS has no channels in the 200 range.
