    Picked up Jurassic World:FK 4k UHD but it won't play on my X


    I have a 4k tv without HDR

    No 4K without HDR (xbox one x)

    you need hdr for 4k output

    I don't think you fully understand

    Uhd and hdr are required for 4k output

    Unless you have an xbox one s not a x

    You can't play in 4k

    4k is only for.movies or streaming sources which require both uhd and hdr

    But.xbox.one x will do 4k gaming

    It seems to be a common problem with certain 4K UHD Blue Ray disks on the Xbox One and Series X.

    My Xbox One X refuses to play certain 4K UHD Blue Ray disks as well and I know it's not the disks that's causing the problem as they play on my stand alone 4K Blue Ray player.

    I was just wondering if you have any additional info to add. Is it indeed a firmware or software issue?

    I recently got Godzilla: KOTM in 4K and nothing I try will get it to play. I can now no longer get my UHD copy of The Meg to play, which has been temperamental in the past but has worked. And my UHD of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom will no longer work and
    that movie has only had a slight hiccup once or twice getting going in the past. All my other UHD movies play fine as they always have.

    Wondering if you can give advice on if I should wait out for an update to hopefully fix this issue or just buy a standalone UHD player (eyeing the X800) or seek a repair for my Xbox One X.
