    Physical Limit to Xbox One S Internet Speed
    I have gigabit internet speed in my house (about 900 Mbps download and upload). I confirmed through my ISP that my Xbox One S is receiving the full speed. Even though it is receiving the full speed through a CAT-6 ethernet cable, it doesn't seem to be able
    to use the full speed. It maxes out at about 300 Mbps when downloading games and gets around 300-400 Mbps up and down when testing speeds. It seems to be through hours of research and support that the Xbox's physical hardware does not support this speed even
    though the Xbox One S has a gigabit ethernet card. Perhaps the console is not fast enough and doesn't have enough processing power for this internet speed. Does anyone else have this problem?

    I will be sticking to physical copies. The size of Xbox One titles as well as updates along with it will no doubt chew way our download quota. I share the internet with my family and going over the download limit will slow the internet connection to dial
    up speeds.

    The maximum (theoretical) download speed the Xbox One would be 125MB/s (1000Mb/s), over a wired gigabit connection.

    Over a wireless connection, using the theoretical full speed of the IEEE 802.11n standard, would be
    37.5MB/s (300Mb/s).



    There's obviously a bunch of internal limiting factors to make the numbers more realistic, but the most important thing, for the sake of practicality, is the speed of your internet connection. Get the fastest plan you can afford, I suppose!

    My PC's does not use 40Mb/s or 10 Mb/s because they are turned off. They don't download anything, It is a problem of Xbox live which is limiting my download speed on XSX.

    If you are using a 4G network to connect to the console it's likely that your operator may limit the connection speed to avoid congestion in the lines. It is not indicated as a connection mode even for signal dispersion. The speedtest may not report
    anomalies, but the download speed may be limited by the ISP.
    I tried download files on my laptop and download speed was normal, 1.3 mB/s.

    Actually I have net speed monitor, and I'm always watching my internet speed, I'm watching movies-downloading files with 1.3 mB/s
