    Physical copy of game (Dead Rising 4) won't start (0x803F8001)


    Today i've bought a physical copy of Dead Rising 4. When i put the game in the tray for the first time it asked to update (60.7GB) which is the whole game I had to download (no install from disc). Whenever i try to start the game it shows the "Getting your
    game ready" message for about less than half of a second to be followed with "Do you own this game or app?". I've been searching for solutions for the last 2 hours.

    I've tried the steps below:

    Microsoft Store Pre-order Points never went through

    Hi,

    I pre-ordered Dead Rising 4 (physical copy) from the Microsoft Store on Thanksgiving. The offer is still available for the 15,000 points for Pre-ordering but I never got my points. Is there someone that can find out what is going on with that?

    The game is in the tray when You start the game, right? If it's and even so You can't play the game so try to delete your profile from your Xbox and sig into your profile again, If It does not work so try to press and hold Power Button for 10 seconds and
    check If It Works.

    It didn't work unfortunately. And there seems no way the game will install from the disc. Not even offline (only from network). I don't know if that's always the case with this game.

    I really hope the guys on the xbox camp match the specs that the PS4 has...

    alan wake is ok, crackdown is mediocre at best, dead rising is good, fable is gone, hasn't been a good fable game since the original xbox plus lionhead is pretty much dead.

    also wonder if the signed exclusivity for dead rising? sorta like left 4 dead (which a new one won't be made for any xbox console most likely)
