Was soll das? Sofort abstellen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

-[Translation - When starting Microsoft Mahjong, my Firefox has been automatically opened for 2 days and shows me the following pop-up from Microsoft:

    Congratulations!

    22 September 2019

We would like to thank you for using our services for so long!

Every day, we select a small group of Microsoft users and give them the opportunity to receive valuable gifts from our partners and sponsors. In this way, we thank you for choosing Microsoft.

You can win a new Samsung Galaxy S10+, iPhone XS or iPad Pro. To receive a gift, you only need to answer the following 6 questions. This survey allows us to better understand customers and improve our services. It doesn't take more than 30 seconds.

This pop-up can only be left with an ok button and you will come to a survey page (which is already displayed in the background). You have about 1 1/2 min to answer the survey. After the time has elapsed, a new tab opens with exactly the same survey. Within
a very short time, all displayable tabs are open on the screen. Today, a survey by Media-Markt was also shown.

What is this? I don't answer polls and I don't want to win anything. Above all, I don't want my internet browser to open up without my intervention and to waste me. Shut down immediately]

    :)

    phishing microsoft mahjong

    Hi,

I can confirm this problem (Windows 10 Home, 1903, German). As soon as Microsoft Majong is started/used, the web browser will open and navigate to malicious websites.

The browser will show fake websites of microsoft.com or mediamarkt.de for example.

The computer has been checked for virus/malware without results.

There was a similar problem in June 2019 which was fixed after a few weeks: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/malvertising-attack-on-microsoft-games/ced7ab87-7e0e-422b-97b7-fbfaed2b68a0

    Now it is happening again.

    Hi Susanne,

Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums. In order to report the phishing attempts to Microsoft, I recommend that you utilize the information in the following Microsoft documents:

    Phishing

Submit spam, non-spam, and phishing scam messages to Microsoft for
    analysis

In general, if you've received this in a pop-up advertisement from a web browser, I would also recommend clearing the cache/cookies in your web browser to be sure that this isn't stemming from any past browser usage/searches. As you're using Firefox, I would
also recommend that you set the browser to block pop-ups when applicable as well.

I hope that this information helps out!
