Thanks for the reply here in Xbox Forums. Unfortunately, we do not have the appropriate tools to help assist with 3rd party Universal controllers and/or TV settings. We do have a troubleshooting article available to help assist with the Xbox Console:

• How to adjust the display settings on your Xbox One
  • "Calibrate HDTV lets you configure the optimal settings for your TV. You can adjust the aspect ratio, sharpness, brightness, contrast, and other settings. You may also need to adjust some settings on your TV, so check the manufacturer’s documentation for
    information about how to access the menu options on your TV."

Im sure they folliw rules but have leeway as thats their whole job, to use their judgement. As i stated in the post, i figured it out.

Is it in games only or dashboard as well?

It doesn't hurt to pick up a 4k TV now especially with some nice priced ones out there currently. My lady bought our 55'' 4k Vizio which replaced our 40'' Philips HDTV and I'm in love with it. My games have never looked so good and I can't wait to actually
try an actual 4k game.
