    Permission to buy


    When I created my account, I was less than 18 years (That is the age to be "adult, in Brazil". But, now, I have more than 18, and my account, when I gonna buy something request me a permission.

    How I resolve that?

    I'm ok with that as long as they had permission. Without permission its disrespectful.

    require password for purchases?

    You can create a child account, where it needs the parents permission to do buy anything.

    Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Did you use your correct birthday when creating this account? If your account is an adult account now, you can switch your own privacy settings to allow purchases. Otherwise, you would need the parent account

    Another thing you can do IF the Date of birth when you ORIGINALLY set the account up has reached its 18th birthday.

    You can Sign into the parental account at account.microsoft.com/family with the parent account and remove yourself from the family at which point you will be put into your own family as an adult and can make the changes yourself.

    Definitely change settings on their account so they have to ask you permission to buy things. It’s a great feature.
