    I located the .exe file for a game through the game pass and tried linking it to Razer Synapse but it advised I didn't have permission.

    I think it's worth allowing users to use the .exe file to link games in software such as Razer Synapse to create mouse and keyboard profiles. This gives users freedom to change keybinds to what they feel comfortable using.

    You get the freedom to do this with any other launcher/platform so why not on the Xbox PC app.

    You can use the keybinding in game but mouse profiles suffer from not being able to use them unless you manually select them. I know I like to have a super high dpi for my desktop setting but not for shooter games.

    I agree that giving users more options when it comes to control schemes is important. There are a lot of accessibility bonuses there for people with specific needs.

    But that can be a bit difficult in how they ensure that the software is protected and secure in a subscription service so that they can't be pirated or modified to allow play after the subscription lapsed, so they have special admin privledge on the folder
    where it's located.

    A lot of the titles offer in game rebinding, what game are you trying to set up a profile for?
