    Permanently Banned for botted followers


    I’m doing this post on behalf of a good friend, he’s got quite the unbelievable account, a gamerscore of 1,337,227, he’s been a dedicated achievement Hunter for sometime, as you can see, as of 17/3/22, his account was permanently banned, “User Account Tampering” is the reason, he’s basically gained 100,000 followers in a matter of minutes, but the twist is that he’s not done this to himself, we can’t submit a case review, Xbox Support doesn’t deal with the enforcement, we got instructions on how to submit another case review but that’s lead to another dead end, we basically can’t get any help from someone who can actually look into this, any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    Banned for someone bot following my account.

    Yes i understand i have been banned for botted followers but what im saying I DID NOT bot the followers. People use a tool to bot follow someone’s account and the account owner pays the price for SOMEONE ELSE bot following THEIR account do you not understand how this is wrong? It is entirely out of my control i cant stop someone from spamming bots to follow my account and the enforcement team knows this. Like i could find someone to bot follow someone’s account and result in their account getting banned how is that even legal or fair? I understand there is nothing you can do to help except send the same enforcement link which doesnt do anything as my appeal was already denied but i am posting this to spread awareness to other players that may have the same issue. Microsoft need to fix this immediately it is wrong to permanently ban someone for someone else bot following their account making me lose all my games and content i have paid for and all my progress over 16+ years with 111k gamerscore.

    No. You only get 1 chance to submit an appeal.

    Again, no. Submitting an appeal is the only way to contact the enforcement team. If you had your console set as your Home, you'll still be able to access the games if you create a new account.
