Permanent plug next to batterie indicator in the upper right corner

Thanks for the reply! I understand there is an issue with Icons on the home dashboard of the Xbox One console. I recommend trying a
power cycle
of the console.

If the problem persists, try doing a soft factory reset of the console,
Reset and keep games and apps to help reset the operating system. Please note before doing this troubleshooting step, make sure to know your email and passwords for your Xbox profiles and stable internet connection. If possible,
can you add a picture of the icon in question.

Try this out and let us know the results.

I dont mean the headset adapter symbol, there is a power adapter for a socket next to batterie indicator even though there are batteries and no USB connection

My apologies, I thought you meant headset.

I just unplugged my uSB controller cable and still have the plug icon as per your screenshot also, so it may be an icon change.

Do any of your friends have that icon as well?

Try
Setting up a headset adapter. Also
Update your controller firmware
again.

The USB method is my preference.

Update Every controller one after the other to make sure they're all done.

Thanks for coming to the forums. The icon just to left of the battery, is a headset icon. This lets you know if it detects a headset or not. For the random disconnects of the controller, have you made sure the

controller is up to date? Also, make sure the console is plugged directly into the wall. Also that the batteries/battery pack is firmly in the compartment with the cover on.
