    Perfect Dark crashes on Xbox Series X when restarting a level


    I have been playing Perfect Dark (published in 2010 by Microsoft Studios) on my Xbox Series X via Backward Compatibility, and whenever I restart a level the 360 emulation crashes, and I have to return to the Series X dashboard and close the game. This
    error does not occur on my Xbox One X. Has anyone else experienced this issue or have a workaround? The game seems to need an update of some sort for Series X.

    Perfect Dark is still available, however it looks like they have switched over to the Game Pass/Xbox One/ Series X/S format.

    Every video I record on Series X has asynchronous audio

    It's manually set to HDMI already and settings saved. Console has been restarted several times since then (especially when Halo Infinite is crashing the XBOX Series X again -_- )

    Still asynchronous.

    I know I'm not HomelessHippo69 but I am also having the exact same issue and I wanted to answer your questions. I also have the Xbox Series X and am playing the Series X version of BF2042



    1. The game crashes and/or restarts the xbox within around 15 minutes of playing the multiplayer game. It usually starts by just crashing the game but as I keep re-entering the game and play the crashing eventually turns into a full on shut off and restart of the console. I rarely can even finish a full round without crashing/restart of Xbox. The game seems to crash and/or restart my console in a shorter time period than usual when playing the game with friends. This is only happening when I play Battlefield 2042. Also,
    2. I have the Xbox Series X|S version installed
    3. The game is running off the internal drive.
    4. I will submit a bug report.
    5. There are no game updates to install. There was a season 2 game update that happened earlier this week but this issue was happening even before the new update released.

    Did you get a resolution ? I've just received a brand new xbox series x back, date on the back is 4th June 2021. (last xbox series x died)

    Every game I load results in xbox restarting or crash to the dashboard
