People using comms bans as a way to further grief gamers.

So I got a comms ban from laughing and repeating what someone said to me, in quote “you = small pp”, so I laughed and repeated it. Yet I got a comms ban for it and they didn’t, I reported them but I don’t know the outcome of their comms ban either. it all seems very petty but they were griefing me in a game, using exploits in the game to get the upper hand and just being toxic in any way they could, including messaging me saying good boy sit down when I went to a place they couldn’t get me. Just some background, I am AuDHD and when I’m having a day where I am lacking emotional control, or close to overload I tend to lose said control. I know about the guidelines and enforcement from a previous incident last year so I kept it very minimal with anything that could be used against me but this seems legit pathetic on the Xbox safety guidelines. I am also realising now that griefer are using it as a last hoorah to gain the upper hand on you, just to pour in more poison to your gaming experience and I feel more action needs to be taken when people are reporting others for a comms strike, surely you can send the entire chat, including the messages they’ve deleted to prevent them from getting any strikes on their account too, as it seems very unfair when you’re getting dealt a toxic hand from another player and they get the upper hand because they’re quicker at hiding their evidence. Please please please reconsider some more guidelines or the way reporting someone is reviewed, because at the moment it’s far too easy to report people for the smallest thing, or the tamest of words. It’s making gaming much more undesirable and I’m seriously considering not bothering with it. Not that it will make much difference if I end up not paying for Xbox services anymore as the lack of money from myself won’t even make a mark.

It’s a permanent suspension and I haven’t done anything in violation severe enough to be banned that’s for sure. Comms ban sure. Some people have excess of 5 comms bans with no permanent suspension. So it’s not abusing the system when a group of gamers come together to report one person to get them removed from a game because I wasn’t “going with the flow” of what they wanted? The system is dumb. If they look at all your messages why don’t they look at who messaged first and who violated the terms FIRST in the conversation? If the person sending the report violated the terms of agreement their whole report should be NULL. That way you can’t have bully’s report victims and get them perma banned. The whole ban system needs a rework. They aren’t showing why I got permanently suspended either when my other comms ban has the reason. Also, my other comms ban was for a typo, nice.

Sorry but they use past behavior (even comm bans) to allow gamers to use custom gamerpics. I'm not sure how long after a ban you can use a custom gamer pic. No one with Microsoft's support can override this as this a function of the enforcement team

If so,the only way to possibly appeal a ban is to submit a case review if elegible

All post that I have made are for people to join and play with us and yet I've been comm banned twice for a post that isn't selling nor inviting to join a clan or anything like that, its the same for other players I've seen as they've shown exactly what they were comm banned for and nothing is against xbox community standards, you need to start looking into these reported posts or remove the looking for group posts in general if they're just getting people banned for just looking for people to join in their games as thats exactly what I've been posting for and I've got 2 comm bans for looking for players to play with, I also have the proof to back up this post in my enforcement history
