    People should sue with a class action over the account hack and services down Dec. 2023


    This is infuriating beyond belief. If this isn't resoled, I. quit anything Microsoft forever. First the Windows upgrade forced a disk drive check ha wrote over my drive on a dual boot system. Ruined it. Could not stop it. Now my brand new Xbox X is unusable over the service hack. Lost tons of games only for them to be replaced by games I never bought. Now the update won't recognize the controller. Gets to 78% then gets stuck. The comtroller isn't recognized even with the detect mode. Over and over. Tried every suggestion. Customer service was useless. Didn't even know what I was talking about even though I. explained repeatedly. Spent bucks on this system only to lose games, and they act like 'tough [mod removed]" Well tough [mod removed] to you. You'll lose customers.

    Why pro-DRM people will get what they wan't.

    there is also a clause in there that you wave your right to sue them, it in the sony one to after the class action law suit they had for the hacking

    another account hacked

    I filed a BBB complaint on Dec. 28th, and still haven't heard anything.

    Though checking the status of the complaint on the BBB site shows it wasn't processed until Jan 3rd and that MS has until Feb 17 to respond.

    So I wouldn't count on it speeding things up. But it doesn't hurt to file and add to the record of complaints against MS. Could be useful if there's any class action lawsuit in the future over MS's terrible customer service in dealing with these account
    thefts ,and their failure to stop them since people are still posting about having their accounts hacked/stolen in recent days.
