People hacking your WiFi

So this kid started trash talking to me so I blocked him. He then switched to an alt account where he said "block me again and you're going offline". So I blocked him again, then my WiFi status shows "getting status" which means it's going to disconnect.
I couldn't get back on despite resetting my WiFi but restarting my console "fixed it". The fact that this guy somehow managed to find my WiFi and disconnect it makes me think my account and IP are now at risk.

I don't feel safe anymore if someone can easily hack my WiFi.

As long as you don't give away your account information, you're fine. No one can get any information about your account from your IP.

IP address are public and unfortunately people exploit that. You would need to work with your ISP to alert them of the issue and to help keep you online. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-network/connect-network/dos-attacks-faq

The xbox series x/s is completely incapable of connecting to hidden wifi networks. There are various tricks/hacks people are using which may or may not work, but it is not supported natively.

I cannot connect to hidden wifi networks. It will not find my ssid when manually entered.

if you are running on wifi and wifi is not that good then yes it will be a bad experience, those leaderboards are not accurate, they are hacked to death.

the new COD games also stream some of the assets for better picture but if your internet or wireless connection is not up to par then it will be a bad experience.

on wifi and lan, it can be sooo much, servers from the game, microsoft, your isp and and.

they cant just magically hack your account. people who say they will hack you are full of crap.

If a hacker really wants your account, they'll find a way to steal your email. My uncle is pretty experienced in hacking and computers and I have a few friends that can do it as well. These type of people dont go on videogames and rage at you and say theyre
going to hack your account.
