    My gold account was paid via credit card on 21st June. However, my account info says "pending". I can't log into online games. i get told to join xbox live gold! Help please

    Difference of Xbox Live Gold Membership and Xbox Live

    A gold subscription allows you to play online multiplayer and access Games with Gold and Deals with Gold offers. If you don't pay with gold you have a Free (or Silver) account. You can still sign into Live to purchase content and access apps, but you can't
    play online or access gold discounts.

    I have just repaid my xbox live gold membership because it has expired, yet i still cant access gold features or play online. This is twice now that the payment has been left pending. Please help

    They're not sharing any benefits. 2 accounts can't go online, can't access Games with Gold either.

    Gold grants you access to all online features.

    Without it, just being silver, you can't play online or use any online apps and features.

    Just bought my first Xbox 360 & need a few answers.

    There are 2 types of memberships. Free (also known as Silver) and gold. Free members are can sign into Live and download content from the marketplace, but can't play online or access most apps. Gold members can play online, get early access to demos, get
    discounts on content, etc.
