Peggle 2 save erased

Hello, my save on peggle 2 was erased after an error message pop-up in the game. Tech support by chat, and by phone told me that I could not get my save back, and then told me that MICROSOFT is not in charge about what people does whith saves on hard drive...But
my game had a bug. I didn't erased my save ! I don't want to start the game over again, so I asked for compensation. The person over the chat sent me to telephonic support, and the person I had on the phone sent me here. They refuse to listen to me because,
my bug has not been reported yet...not very commercial move.

Does any one has the same problem ?

What compentation can I expect ?

XBLA . Peggle 2 . save game issues

I do not have the game but is there an option in the main menu to choose your storage device? If so, make sure the proper storage device is selected. In the case of multiple consoles you should want to save to the Cloud.

I have Peggle 2 downloaded on my upstairs xbox 360 , it works fine . I also have my profile on my downstairs xbox 360 , for use when we have company . The game saves on both consoles but the downstairs xbox 360 starts a fresh game every time I load it .

I have re-downloaded the game , cleared the system cache . Used Hdd , onboard memory and cloud for game save but it still starts fresh game every time we try .

This does not happen to any other game . Hoping you can help

Sorry but according to the terms of purchase you cannot get a refund. Also, support was correct in saying there was no way to get a save back but incorrect in sending you here for more assistance as no one here can help with your issue.

What was the exact error message that you received when this happened?

 

Publisher is ea, for ingame issues or bugs you have to contact them, though this wont recover your savegame.

if you used cloud on xbox360 there would have been 2 copies: one in cloud and one on your hdd, this way there is a Chance to use the lsat working data .

The problem append when I was in the "Private Peg Party" menu. I tried to connect a second game pad, logging with a non connected to live profile, for playing an offline game...Then I realized that it was exclusively Online game. So I disconnected the second
profile and game pad. The error message poped-up at this moment. It was in french, I don't remember what it was exactly (I'll try to recreate it now that my save is gone) but it said that an error occurred an that my game session wouldn't be saved...I taught
it was about my last session so I restarted the game, to find out that my save was deleted and a fresh new one, dated from that same day, was here instead.

 

I understand it sucks losing your save, but it happens sometimes. Why would you be given compensation for that?

I can only speak for myself, but usually my games don't erase they own saves. So when one does I don't think that's normal. The time I could have spend finishing the game won't be used on peggle2. I don't want to restart the game all over again so I'll just
find myself an other game to play.

I just feel as I played an advanced DEMO version of the game I payed for.

Microsoft and EA are protected by the terms of purchase I signed so they don't have to bother. I understand that. I just don't feel it's normal. Like a person buying a movie would probably expect to see it to the end without having to whatch the begin over
again and again. That's all.

 

Glitches happen. You're playing a full game that had a glitch occur that was caused by a series of events performed by the user. Otherwise, games don't just delete saves. It sucks and I can feel why you're upset about it. I've had it happen in the past to
myself.
