(PC) Xbox Live in-game Experience or Xbox TCUI update problem.

Hello,

I'm having issues with an app update that show up in Microsoft Store each time I start my computer.

The app in question is Xbox Live In-game Experience or Xbox TCUI.

So I have version 1.24.10001.0 of the app and I'm not sure if that is the latest or not since I can't find any information on that.

The Issue I'm having is that each time I restart my computer an update for the app shows up in Microsoft Store, but it wont go through ending with an error (will update with the error code as soon as I get it again) after a very long time stuck in downloading.

If I cancel the update the update wont show up at all until I restart the computer again.

I have tried reinstalling the app, reseting the app and none of those have worked it still shows up telling me there's an update for it in the Microsoft Store each time I start the computer.

I'm not sure if there's a CMD/Power Shell command I can use to fix/reinstall the app with the latest version (if the one I have is not the latest), I haven't found one trying to search the web at least.

Yes I've tried reinstalling the Xbox app completely to no avail.

I have the update running now as I write this. and the update is 325.0 kB in size, but nothing happens it's just stuck on downloading, even pausing and unpausing it wont make it get any progress.

I'm gonna let this update run in the background until I get the error message I got before so gonna update both this post and the main post with the error code.

EDIT: Apparently it "went through" the update it gone - for now - but the funny thing is that it still says Modified 2021-11-05 the date when I reinstalled the Xbox TCUI app, and not today when it was having an update.

But the "update" will most likely show up again after I restart the computer again at some point.

Is there any where I can see what the latest Xbox TCUI version is? Seeing as I said the version I have is 1.24.10001.0 and it stays on that version however many times the "update" goes through.

Have you tried uninstalling and installing the Xbox app? I suggest uninstalling the app completely! Everytime that it tried to give me a hard time I do this and it works wonders! Here are the steps!

Yes I have 21H1 installed:

I have 0 other updates.

As I said the Xbox TCUI app is the only thing that is showing up as an update and that happens every time I (re)start the computer.

It completely ignores that there's an update for that app if I I press the X to remove said update, and only shows up the next time I (re)start the computer.

Unfortunately, Microsoft doesn't have an official way to know the latest TCUI version! But I'm glad to know that everything is working now! Do you need further help?
