PC Xbox game pass won't launch any games error (0x800704c7)

So I downloaded stardew valley yesterday and today I was gonna play it, I opened up the xbox app, and clicked to play after a few seconds it me back with a error message "windows cannot access the specified device path or file. Maybe you don't have the necessary permissions to access it", I then tried opening it from the microsoft store, and got more or less the same result, the I got into the game files and tried opening it from there, then at least a window opened with an error message (0x800704c7), I tried restarting my computer, uninstalling the game, and reinstalling it, running it has administrator which was even worse, and that's the state I've been locked in, wasting hours troubleshooting instead of playing, please solve my problem, thanks in advance.

Do you have Anti-virus and anti-malware installed on your machine?
When was the last time you're able to launch the game?
Can you still sign into account.microsoft.com website?

Error code 0x800704C7 usually indicates a problem with the Windows Store cache. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

You can also try the following steps:

1. Press the Windows key + X and select "Windows PowerShell (Admin)".

2. Type the following command and press Enter: Get-AppXPackage *WindowsStore* -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

3. Wait for the command to complete and then restart your PC.

4. Try launching the game again.

I have the same problem. Each time I launch the game I get the 0x87DD0005 error code (on PC Game Pass). All other games launch just fine.

Thanks for reaching out to the forums! We are sorry to hear about your issue. May I ask if you are using any 3rd party software on your laptop that may be blocking the loading of games? Something such as RazerCortex or a similar optimization app may be the cause of your issue.
