Pc Xbox App and Microsoft Store won't launch games

I'm not on an xbox but on PC with microsoft and i launch the game with microsoft store or xbox app

i'd like to know if he got it to work? i'm having the same issue with fishing planet. "Play" button is there, but no response

I have tried all these steps and the Xbox app and Microsoft store still won't let me launch any game that uses it to launch, the troubeshooter said it detected an issue like it did before, I went to check for windows update, said it needed a restart so I did, still won't work at all. Did everything listed above and more and the Xbox app and Microsoft store still refuse to launch any game that uses them to launch, even something simple as hell that is almost as old than I am, Wolfenstein 3D won't even launch or run, and I mean no loading wheel, nothing, you click launch and it still does nothing. Oh let me add to that, that even though I restarted the pc, the troubleshooter still says there is an issue and it "was fixed" even though no matter what, it was not fixed and its not a windows update issue as I checked and it said it was fine. Nothing fixes it, there is no update, there is no discernable issue, it doesn't even bother to tell me what the issue is, when I check for updates it says it is fine.

You may try to launch those game as an administrator by right click the game. If that doesn't work try to run the game in compatibility mode. To do this follow the steps below:

- Right click the game
- Go to Properties
- Click the check box Run this program in compatibility mode
- Select Windows version
