    PC: Xbox and Microsoft Store App won't download Game Pass Games


    For the pass 3 hours I have been trying to download 4 games onto my PC. One of those games is one that I already owned for a while. The other 3 were all games that I wanted to try from Game Pass Ultimate. The game that I already owned downloaded rather quickly, meanwhile the other 3 give me an error every time I try to install. They do not download at all, and only give an error with the code 0x80070424 almost immediately after trying to install. I have tried every troubleshooting tip I could find. Does anyone know what is causing this error and how I could fix it? I saw somewhere on the internet that this is a problem on Microsoft's end, but I see no mention of that from Microsoft or Xbox. Everything on my end is up to date and I have restarted my PC several times. I do not know what else to do. I just want to play the games that I have paid my subscription to play.

    I have same problem, xbox app on pc won't recognize i have game pass ultimate. Mobile app dose.even on web it reflects, not chaked on consol. Microsoft store late me download, install & play game pass games.

    It seems there is issue whith pc app. All usual measures does not help me.

    When you want a game from the game pass for PC, you need to go through the game pass for PC or the Microsoft store to download the games. They will not download from the app or console companion. Here is the

    Game Pass on both platforms.

    Game Pass Ultimate includes Game Pass for PC. So yes, it can be used. Are you trying to download the games through the Xbox app or Microsoft store app?

    Also, keep in kind that Game Pass for PC does not have the same amount of games Game Pass for console has, so if you'll want to make sure you're downloading games that are included.

    There are two apps on your PC that you could, technically download games and app.

    There's the Microsoft Store app, there, you could download apps and some games, and the Xbox app, that you use for the Game Pass subscription games, or even those you purchased.
