It sounds like you are in the preview program. If so, release notes are in the Preview app, under Announcements, and also in the preview forums, under Update Notifications (Here). If you are tired of the updates, you can opt out of the program through your
app, under Registration.

What should I do if I want to stop participating in the program?

If you decide that you don't want to get Preview updates anymore you can opt out in the Xbox Preview Dashboard app. You won't be removed from the program right away; it won't happen until the current update is released to the general public. If you change
your mind, you can always re-register your console later using the Xbox Preview Dashboard app.

Here's how to remove your console from the Xbox Preview program:

Open the Xbox Preview Dashboard app.

Select Registration.

Under Manage flights, select Change.

Note If you have more than one console in the program, you can change their statuses by using Manage other consoles.

Under Manage programs, select Remove, and then select Submit. You'll be prompted to select a reason for leaving.

If you run into any issues, post in the private Xbox Early Access forums for help.

Note Your console won't be removed from the program until the current Preview update is released to the general public, so it won't happen right away. Until then, your console's status will show as Pending.

"Please note: As a result of the changes to the Party App in this initial update, party chat, party matchmaking, and party invites will NOT be compatible between Xbox One consoles that are previewing this update and those that are not. Once this one-week
preview of the update is completed and the update is released to the general public, party features should work normally between all Xbox One players. Non-party multiplayer and chat are not affected by this, meaning you will still be able matchmake, chat,
and play with all Xbox Live players regardless of update status inside of game titles. If you have friends that you use the Party App with that have not been invited to preview Xbox One updates, you can invite them by posting in the Invite a Friend to Preview
Xbox One Updates Forum."

Notes about the preview builds are released in the preview program dashboard and preview program forums. Sot he information is out there. The current preview includes changes to the store which is why licenses are only working for consoles on the preview
program until the update is released publicly.
