    [PC Steam] Halo MCC: Unable to unlock "I'm Sorry, Dave" achievement


    "I'm Sorry, Dave" is a very basic achievement and the 2nd most common achievement on Steam... yet I cannot for the life of me unlock it. Yes I'm playing with Anti-Cheat on, yes I can unlock all other achievements just fine, yes my hosts file is clean...
    I've gone through every piece of advice I could find, yet still nothing. It's not unlocking on Steam and not on my Xbox account. I have tried re-installing the game and I also tried it on 3 different PCs.

    If I had to guess, I'd say they coded it in a stupid way where it only triggers the first time you zoom in and then NEVER AGAIN. So if there was any kind of achievement connectivity issue at the time you zoomed in for the first time, it'll never pop again,
    issues or not.

    Does anyone else have any ideas? Do you think Xbox support would be able to unlock this for me, seeing how it requires no effort whatsoever to unlock?

    So far, I see no point in continuing my legendary campaign, if I'll never be able to complete achievements due to this broken basic one.

    Halo 5: Forge is available, which has some features, and allows you to create maps and play limited multiplayer, but for now that is the extent of its availability on PC. That said, it wouldn't be completely wild to think that they would, at one point,
    put it out on PC either standalone, as an add-on for MCC, or package it into MCC at a later date. For now I'm pretty sure their focus is on Halo: Reach on PC (+ Steam) via the MCC and Halo: Infinite, so I wouldn't hold my breath. Would be nice to round out
    that series and further increase the value of MCC or Xbox Game Pass for PC.
