    PC Remote Play No Longer working (Alpha Ring) ETA on Update/Fix?


    Hey All,

    As much as I love the new Android remote play, streaming to my office PC via the Windows 10 Xbox Companion App is my go-to.

    The PC Xbox (Beta) app doesnt have console steaming yet. The Companion App "Connects" but no longer desplays anything.

    Is this a known issue? Any ETA on Console Streaming for the PC Xbox (Beta) App?

    new update - no party notifications

    This has supposedly been fixed, along with a bunch of other stuff, in an update that's available for people in the preview program (alpha ring) now.

    So, if you're in the alpha ring, check for updates and you should see it there ready to install.

    If you're not in the alpha ring, or you're not in the preview program at all, I expect they'll roll out an update with a bunch of fixes in it to the public fairly soon.

    so how the program works is that by joining a higher up ring you get access to updates before the lower down rings and due to skip ahead being a new ring it is a limited number ring like all alpha but you will have to rejoin beta ring if you do leave alpha
    skip ahead ring. you do not drop to your previous ring.

    The new update is only out for some Alpha & Alpha skip ahead insiders at the moment.

    If you're in the Omega ring then you'll probably be the last ring to get the update before it's released to everyone.

    I’ve asked the back compat team to look into the Resident Evil 0 issues as well as the Fable series.

    Looks like the current Alpha Ring for Insiders has a fix!
