pc play anywhere save file not sending to my xbox series s

when i start my game on pc, it tells me to choose between local save, cloud save, or choose next time. when i choose local or next time, i get my most recent save. when i save my game and exit and load my game on my series s, , the last save is much older than my pc save. i dont know how to fix this

First we need to know what game

Not all games support cross saves.

You can only use the same save file if a game is play anywhere ie playable across devices such as pc and xbox.

A game being available on both xbox and pc is not the same as a play anywhere title and so the saves and progress would be seperate

As far as I'm aware this game is not play anywhere

Unfortunately Doom Eternal, Skyrim and Wolfenstein 2 are not play anywhere and their Xbox Save files can not be transferred to a PC.

Hi, Sorry but I’m still a little confused here….

If I want the ability to play Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord on both my Xbox Series X and my PC – do I need to purchase 2 versions of the game? (console and PC)

I don’t see it advertised anywhere as a ‘Play Anywhere’ title, meaning playable on both places after purchase. Like you mention, it doesn’t even appear on the Xbox PC app.

I notice it mentions cloud saves, but this isn’t an indication that your save file is playable on both platforms.

I’m basiscally looking to only have to purchase it once and play on both devices – not fussed about save file accessible on both – game’s so good I’m happy to run 2 different playthroughs at once. 😊

You can only get an Xbox game on PC at same time if a game is 'Play Anywhere'. Unfortunately, Skyrim Anniversary is not play anywhere.
