PC minecraft bedrock edition cannot get out of beta manual unenrollement help

I was recently automatically enrolled in the minecraft bedrock edition beta. I did not even know of the xbox insider app before this and now cannot leave the beta. I already unenrolled on the insider app and it said I was successfully unenrolled.
I uninstalled and reinstalled minecraft and waited over an hour between. With no luck I am still in beta. I then tried to remove it manually in the powershell based on instructions from xbox and that still didn't work. I don't want to be on beta because I
cannot play with friends who are on ps4 and can't get the beta. I am on PC.

So, I was once in Beta, and you'll need to leave the Beta,

On Xbox One or a Windows 10 PC, sign in with the account that registered for the Minecraft Beta and launch the Xbox Insider Hub.

1. Navigate to Insider content > Minecraft (or Minecraft for Windows 10 on PC)
   
2. Select Manage.
   
3. Use the radio button to select Unenroll (Leave this preview), then select Done.
   
4. Wait an additional 30-60 minutes after unenrollment completes (Pending no longer appears in the Xbox Insider Hub).
   
5. Uninstall and reinstall Minecraft.

Edit: To confirm, it is the Windows Minecraft which is the Bedrock right?

Hi there Dameon,

im going to try help you with your issue.

1, do you both have an xbox live subscription?

if either one doesnt own a subscription that will be preventing from joining the game, or a friend joining.

2, do you both own the same copy of minecraft?

if you own the xbox edition and your friend owns the new crossplay edition (think its called bedrock edition) then this will prevent you from joining each other

3, are any of you enrolled in the insider programs 'minecraft beta'?

if you or your friend are enrolled in the insider programs 'minecraft beta' then youll have to go to the insider app unenroll in the beta, delete and reinstall the game, and then try again.

If you own the Minecraft Bedrock Edition for PC you should also get the Minecraft Java Edition. Can you please sign in to this link and click on "Get": https://www.xbox.com/en-us/games/store/minecraf...

After that sign out and sign back in on your Minecraft launcher, make sure that you're signed in under the correct account.
