Pc Joining Xbox

So you can join FROM PC to Xbox without the Xbox users having gold, BUT the players on XBOX cannot join players on PC without gold

So I have done some more troubleshooting. She can join other servers. I on my pc can also join official servers. I do have all the ports open and forwarded that Xbox normally requires. My pc still says join failed when I try to join her. Same on Xbox side. My pc does say could not retrieve address when I try to join unofficial dedicated arks.

If none of the methods work that the others have suggested try it on annother world maybe, bigger worlds are harder to connect to. If this doesnt work try uninstalling your mc and reinstalling if none of these methods work ask someone of higher knowledge.

I would check NAT types. Sometimes if you both have strict or even moderate NAT types it can cause issues when one of you is the host.

If you can get the NAT types open, it solves a lot of issues like these. Another workaround is to use a game with a dedicated 3rd party host (which minecraft has in the form of Realms if the subscription is worth it to you)

Definitely seems like a Internet connection issue. I would recommend restarting both you guys routers I sometimes go to the same things myself and it seems to help😏
