PC Installed Xbox App Game on profile, can't access it on other Windows profile

Hi,

I had installed Forza 4 on another user profile because after days of dealing with different 0x8024xxxx errors, I finally got it to work by installing it on another Windows admin profile.

Now I can't find it on my main admin profile and it requires me to 'install' it when I'm in the Xbox app. Since there isn't a desktop icon I can use and that it must be a Windows App installed onto the profile in the start menu, I'm stuck.

Had this problem with Microsoft store apps when I would just hit the 'get' and let it install on the other profile, but I don't have 99.6GB of space to throw around to even START the install.

Nobody in the world seems to have this problem, let alone a solution, which I find terribly unbelievable.

As with the Microsoft store apps, you need to have the space available to start the installation of the game on the second session, you won't use the space really as it will detect the files of the first installation but it needs to be started as with other windows apps

Digital game licenses are associated to the Microsoft account used to purchase the game. To download and install the game on the child account, you'll need to sign in to the Windows 10 PC using the child's profile, and then sign in to the Windows Store app using the parent account. Here are the steps:

On the Windows 10 PC, sign in using the child's account, and then launch Windows Store.

At the upper part beside the Search box, click the account picture.

Click the profile, and then click Sign out.

Click again the user icon next to the search box, and then click Sign in.

Select Microsoft account.

Enter the email address and password of the parent account.

Click Sign in.

Install the game.

After installing the game, restart the device so that the changes can take effect. Sign in using the child's profile on Windows 10. Access the game and see if it works.

You do not have to redownload your profile to access your content on your home Xbox.

The system will remember what profiles have that console set as their home and any digital games those profiles own will automatically show up in the ready to install section of my games and apps.

With the console being set as home for those profiles ALL other profiles on that console will then have access to those games.

Is the Xbox Gaming Services app installed on your PC? Also try and reset the Windows Store by opening Run, Windows Key+R and typing WSReset.exe, then restart your PC. Also
check for updates in the ... menu next to your profile pic in the download and updates in Windows Store.

Hi,

Error 0x80070005 is an 'access denied' error code. It means that games and apps can't be installed due to file access restrictions.

Did you use D:\ drive on a previous PC or previous install of Windows 10?

Games and Apps on Windows 10 Store install to a folder called 'WindowsApps', if this folder already exists on your drive, you won't be able to install games.
