[PC]GMail PW forgotten

Hi,

I had to reset my computer and with it every password I saved in Google Chrome got wiped. Since I mainly use Firefox, I only saved these passwords, which resulted in being a mistake.

To resume, I can log into my XBox account (PC) and also wanted to buy something in the store but it requires a code that is sent to Gmail. The problem is that I don't have access to Gmail. I tried to reset my password multiple times but wasn't able to recover
my account.

Is there any other way to change the email address of my Xbox Live account? Or at least pass the games to another Xbox account, without accepting any code on the email itself?

same here. i changed my pw on the pc too. it still says my password is incorrect

Sorry bout the late reply, couldn't figure out how to reply to this thread! The message says;

"That password didn't work. Make sure your password is between 6 and 16 characters, or use your app password if you set up two-tep verification. Visit xbox.com/forgot for help"

I had my profile saved to the hard drive but after 3 attempts at changing my PW, i decided (not sure if this was a good move...) to delete the profile from the hard drive to download it again (seems to work for a PC...). Did that work? Nope. So I am in the
same position just without the profile on my hard drive!

Weird because I've changed my PW from both a PC & through the xbox. After changing my PW through the xbox, when I sign in to my email account, the new PW works. When I have changed the PW both on the PC & xbox though, then try to download my profile, it
says the message above.

I think you misunderstood me. I do have access to this account on XBOX, etc, else I wouldn't be able to talk to you.

I do not have access to GMAIL - no e-mail I receive on this account's email address, can be read.

If you cannot access your gmail account you will have to contact their support.

To change the email address on your MS account follow these instructions How to Change Microsoft Account Email Address

 

If you have access to your MS account (email and Password) but do not have access to any of the security proofs (where verification of account code goes to either email or phone) you can sign into your account and get to a screen that would require a code
like changing your password, changing your email which can be done here account.live.com/addassocid

Keep in mind though since you do not have access to your current security proof but do have access to the email and password you will locked out of your account from being able to do anything that requires a security proof for 30 days till the new security
proof takes affect.
