[PC Gamepass] We Couldn't sign you in to Xbox Live.

Launching any gamepass game brings up the xbox window, with my account. When I click Lets Play!, I get the error in the title. Ive tried to switch accounts but that button doesnt work either. Logging in and out of the Xbox app has done nothing. If it isn't the 'Lanuching a game brings up the Microsoft store for Gaming Services' bug, its this. Ive not been able to play gamepass since Halo Infinite.

Let's try this :

Press Windows button and type Services

On Services App from the list of results, press right-click and run it as administrator

Scroll to the bottom and find the following services:

IP Helper
Xbox Live Auth Manager
Xbox Live Game Save
Xbox Live Networking Service
Gaming Services

And do this with each of the services listed above:

Right-click over the service and select Properties.
Find the Startup type section and make sure it’s set to Automatic (if not, change it to automatic)
If the service isn’t started, click Start to start the services

Restart your PC

Above solution had no change.

I resolved to reinstall windows, was met with the same problem. The above solution did however work with the fresh windows.

Appreciate the help in getting me gaming again, lets hope its problem free for a while.

Hello T701Ultimatum, have you checked if you have the latest version of Windows installed, at 21H2, because recently came out the latest update to Windows 10 and 11?

Updates are often seen as optional, Microsoft released major fixes this week, and make sure you have the Xbox Companion App installed.

If you haven't updated yet, click the link below, update, and make all subsequent security updates.

Also, make sure all Xbox Apps are up to date in the store, and make sure you have the Xbox Companion App installed, it works with the Xbox App.

Ok, somehow the issue has been solved by itself, or so I believe, because after booting up my computer and try again, the error was no longer there for my main account:
