(Pc gamepass) Checking for updates . . .

Built myself a pc Installed gamepass but im greeted with every install a message at the top that says checking for updates . . . Cant pause the installs thought wiping it off my pc would do something but i load it back up and it leaves right off where it was.

In order to fix this, you will need to perform some basic troubleshooting steps, here's how:

open windows app store (microsoft store)

log out from your primary account (in the microsoft store)

go to windows services

stop "windows update service"

erase contents of folder: C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution

restart your computer

open windows app store, log in yourself

start xbox app (beta)

download game

Hello, I did try to perform all of the solutions in the related article, but when I try to do the "uninstall a reinstall gaming services" section, I cannot progress because I get this error message
