    Pc game pass weird installation issue


    Hi all,

    I had a weird problem on a xbox pc game pass installation.

    I downloaded Fallout 76 and installed it on a non-OS SSD. Tried the game and did not work. After some research, I found a possible solution, apparently, it had to be installed on the same drive as my OS. I thus tried moving the installation using the
    App and Features options in win 10 but for some reason, the move bugged out.

    While I wanted to try again, the game did not appear at all as installed on any of my drives. I was a bit annoyed but I assume I had to retry the download and installation process through PC Xbox pass on the correct drive this time. However I could not,
    I was baffled to see that both of my drives were short of 75gb! For some reason the files were duplicated but windows did not detect the game installation. Tried to delete the folders manually but got a denied message due to permissions or some such. I tried
    in safe mode as well without success.

    Would very much appreciate some help here, it seems that I now have 150gb of wasted, corrupted and unusable storage!

    Xbox Games Pass for PC doesn't work

    This is just weird. I am playing Steam games no issue, but bending over backwards to get Game Pass PC to just function.

    No one else has used the console or has it set as their home console that I can think of.

    The game pass for PC is the thing that's weird because that's the blurb it gives as to why I can install the games on to my xbox

    Timespinners is part of Game Pass for PC (or Ultimate.) But since it's a "play anywhere" title, you can also play it on your Xbox. ;-)

    It's not officially part of Game Pass for Console, which is why it doesn't show up in the "Ready to install" section. You can just go to the game's store page and install it from there.

    I guess the contract between MS and the publisher is for PC only, so we get a weird situation like this.

    That is indeed a strange thing, It may change without warning but until then enjoy it! Hopefully you find your way back into Game Pass Ultimate. I personally play on both PC and Xbox its a great to have more options. Also having the gold built right in nice
    too!
