    PC Game pass not recognising subscription


    Hey all

    So, up until today I had the PC Game Pass installed and it was working fine. Now it doesn't recognise that i am subscribed and paid, and keeps taking me to the 'sign up for game pass' screen. If I try and go through the payment thing again, I get an error.
    I can launch the games without the xbox app running, and can download game pass games through the store, but it's pretty frustrating that I'm having to workaround and not use the app. THe PC is only a week old, clean install, no silly manufacturer software
    on it and, more to the point, nothing has changed on it since yesterday when the game pass app was working.

    Any clues?

    Hi!

    The Game Pass Ultimate itself isn't in beta, but the PC Game Pass component is. If you're using it on your console, nothing should have changed as it has basically combined Game Pass and Live into one subscription but with the added bonus of PC Game Pass.

    Have you tried rebooting your console? If your subscription is active it should recognise this. Also make sure you're signed into the account that purchased the subscription and games.

    Hi,

    If you bought the Game Pass Ultimate, you don't need to purchase a subscription for Game Pass PC, It's included.

    If you just have a Game Pass Console subscription, you should upgrade to Ultimate is the cheaper option to play on console and PC (you'll have xbox live for free) or buy an additional subscription for Game Pass PC.

    Just be careful, the game catalogues are not totally the same between PC and Console.

    For anyone that experiences this, here's the issue.

    There seemed to be an issue with processing my payment, for whatever reason.

    I followed these directions from
    this thread    .

    1. Contact us here
    2. Select Xbox One
    3. Select See other options
    4. Select Payment & billing under Account management
    5. Select show contact options and go to step 4
    6. Select "Request a call from Support" if available within hours of operation or there should be a number for you to call and hours of operation for your region if a callback option is not available

    But instead of a call, I just did the online chat. The person I spoke to fixed it on their end and in a few minutes everything was fixed.
