i would get another internal hdd or an external ssd for your computer so you have more space like the rest of us gamers have too.

I believe the reason is that the Windows 10 (game pass) version includes the insider edition by default. You can't access it without signing up for it though.

Modern games are very large. I suggest you buy a larger hard drive. You can buy a huge platter drive for under $100 you can use to store games you’re not actively playing, or doesn’t need an SSD.

This isn’t going away, it’s only going to get worse if you want to ply any AAA games.

Requirement for extra space is likely to give it room to decompress the files download it OK. On PlayStation, yes I realize you’re on PC, they often require double the space because you download the zip file, then you decompress the zip file rather than it being done dynamically as the game downloads away Xbox does it.

yah I could play this game just yesterday now they added another 9 gigabyte update. I cant install the game even with nothing else on my computer its now 83 gigabytes.

the fall out games download 4 to 5 different versions which is daft, it downloads the entire game for each language, you can safely download the lot head over into the app folder under users and manually delete the unneeded versions which i have done for all of the fall out games.

sea of thieves uses 72.8GB with the windows version and steam version, steam unpacks the game whilst downloading so the download is 50GB but unpacked is full size as i have both.
