PC game pass drops password

Have Xbox Game Pass of PC - it demands my password everyday due to 'a change on your computer' (despite religiously checking save anytime I see it) - is this normal or another 'feature' of the service?

Typically, any sort of "save this answer" feature relies on the use of a cookie on your pc. Is it possible that you have your browser set to not allow cookies?

The game has been released on the PC for quite a while, I get the feeling that the developer/publisher has seen the sales figures drop off and they are now happy for the game to go onto Games Pass for PC.

On the console side though its just been released, I guess they want to get some sales first and only then will they consider releasing it on Games Pass.

You will need to first try to reset the parental password, if you are unable to do that then you will need to fill out the
Microsoft Account recovery form here.

If you are unable to do either then you will need to reach out to the Microsoft Account team via their forums here. This is unfortunately
not something that Xbox Support can help you with as this is a Microsoft Account issue.

Any game that's exclusive on console to PC or owned by Xbox Game Studios will remain on the console. Every month a few games are dropped but there is usually a 2 week notice of this so you should be able to keep up to date on the Xbox Game Pass App on
games being removed soon.
