PC freezing completely when I open Xbox app and Steam games. How should I fix?

After a little more testing it's with any and all steam games. However, I don't think it's just with steam because the same thing happens with the xbox app. (Same issue of screen/pc freezing)

If they're not Microsoft games you should contact their publishers support

as long as its the new ea desktop beta app then it should work, i have actually got rif od it all as it is glitchy, and a complete waste of time.

none of the ea games for gamepass pc support acheivements, constant gme freezing, having to deal with xbox app and ea desktop constantly.

i just bought ea play with steam for £20 for the year, you download the games within steam, majority support steam cheevos and trading cards and when starting the games automatically call the origin app quickly and non intrusively.

What I would do is to exit Steam completely when you are playing an Xbox app game. I had a similar issue recently. I was trying to play Among Us with my controller on my PC and it started rapidly switching between controller and keyboard+mouse input to the point where I could barely move. Steam was open in the background, so I went down to the bottom right of the taskbar and clicked the up arrow, then right clicked Steam and clicked Exit Steam. The reason this happened was because of Steam controller remapping interfering with the direct input of controls to the PC.

I purchased the game on Steam, and when i launch the desktop icon its opens steam, I cant even find the game in my xbox app library, how do i launch it in there
